Worcester Chambers

Worcester Chambers, also known as Gough Chambers, is a historic office building located at 69 Worcester Street in Central Christchurch, New Zealand. Designed by architect Cecil Wood in 1926, it is recognized as a Category II heritage building by Heritage New Zealand. The structure notably survived the devastating Canterbury earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 due to prior earthquake strengthening efforts. Originally home to Digby's Commercial College, the building has changed ownership several times, with the Gough family being notable past owners. Today, it stands as a testament to Christchurch's architectural heritage and resilience.
