Exploratorium at Pier 15

The Exploratorium relocated from the Palace of Fine Arts to Pier 15 on the Embarcadero and reopened at that site in April 2013. It is an interactive museum and public learning laboratory devoted to science, art, and human perception, featuring hundreds of hands-on exhibits. The institution also runs school programs, professional development for educators, and research into informal science learning.
