Denver Zoo (City Park)

Denver Zoo, located in City Park, opened in 1896 and is one of the oldest zoological parks in the United States. The institution maintains large, habitat-focused exhibits such as Tropical Discovery and Predator Ridge, and operates conservation and education programs locally and internationally. The zoo is a major cultural and recreational landmark in northeast Denver with a long public visitation history.
