Wang Theatre (Boch Center)

The Wang Theatre, now operated by the Boch Center, opened in 1925 as a lavish movie palace originally called the Metropolitan Theatre. The restored auditorium is noted for its ornate interior decoration and large seating capacity, and the venue hosts touring Broadway productions, concerts, and special events. It is a prominent performing-arts landmark in Boston's Theatre District and a key example of early 20th-century theatrical architecture in the city.
