Noyes-Parris House

The Noyes-Parris House, located in Wayland, Massachusetts, is a historic First Period house dating back to around 1669. Originally built as a three-bay, two-story structure with a central chimney, it was later expanded to five bays in the 1790s. The house is notable for its connection to Peter Noyes, an early settler of Wayland, and his daughter Dorothy, who married Rev. Samuel Parris, a prominent figure in the Salem witch trials. Recognized for its historical significance, the house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. It also served as a filming location for the 2015 movie 'The Inhabitants.'
