Bacardi Buildings (Miami)

The Bacardi Buildings, located at 2100 Biscayne Boulevard in Midtown Miami, are a historic landmark that served as the former headquarters of Bacardi USA. Comprising the Bacardi Imports Tower, built in 1963, and the Bacardi Imports Administration Annex, known as 'The Jewel Box' and completed in 1973, these structures are notable for their unique architectural designs. The tower features vibrant azulejo murals, while the annex is adorned with a colorful hammered-glass mosaic. Both buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018, reflecting their significance in Miami's cultural identity. Currently, the complex houses the National YoungArts Foundation, making it a point of interest for visitors and researchers alike.
