Jerathmell Bowers House

The Jerathmell Bowers House, built around 1673, is the oldest known home in Lowell, Massachusetts, located at 150 Wood Street. This historic Cape style house features a gabled roof, central brick chimney, and an asymmetrical facade with a central entrance. Originally part of a 150-acre farm, it served as a garrison house during early colonial conflicts. The house has been preserved despite modern development pressures and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
