Elisabet Ney Museum (former studio 'Formosa')

The Elisabet Ney Museum is the preserved studio of sculptor Elisabet Ney and houses many of her original sculptures and plaster casts, including portrait works of Texas figures such as Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin. The site preserves Ney's workspace and collection and operates as a museum showcasing 19th- and early-20th-century portrait sculpture. The museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
