Newcomb Place

Newcomb Place is a historic house located at 109 Putnam Street in Quincy, Massachusetts, built in the 1850s. This 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure is a prime example of side-hall Greek Revival architecture, featuring a three-bay facade, a fully pedimented gable, and an entablature that wraps around the house. The front windows are adorned with simple projecting lintels. The house was owned by painter Joseph Newcomb during the late 19th century and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
