Pueblo Grande Archaeological Park & Museum

Pueblo Grande preserves a prehistoric Hohokam village and platform mound site that was occupied roughly from AD 450 to AD 1450. The on-site museum displays artifacts and interprets Hohokam irrigation, agriculture, and pottery traditions uncovered during excavations. The park is one of the largest intact Hohokam archaeological sites within the Phoenix metropolitan area. Visitors can see exposed ruins, interpretive trails, and rotating exhibits about indigenous prehistory.
