Hickory Hill (Glasgow, Virginia)

Hickory Hill is a historic estate located in Rockbridge County, Virginia, built between 1823 and 1824 for Reuben Grigsby. This Federal-style house features Flemish bond brick and a striking two-story portico with Doric columns. The estate has a rich history, including connections to the McCormick family, known for their agricultural innovations. After changing hands multiple times, it was preserved and added to the Virginia state list of historic places and the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
