Pewabic Pottery

Pewabic Pottery, founded in 1903 by Mary Chase Perry Stratton, is a historic ceramics studio and National Historic Landmark known for its iridescent glazes and decorative tiles. The studio's tilework appears in many Detroit buildings and public installations, and close-up images of its tiles and kilns are frequently shared on social media. Pewabic continues to operate as a working pottery, gallery, and educational center that draws photographers and craft enthusiasts.
