Eveleth Farm

Eveleth Farm is a historic farmstead located in Dublin, New Hampshire, built around 1823 and expanded in 1980. This well-preserved example of an early hill farmstead is notable for its connection to the famous writer Henry David Thoreau, who visited during a walking trip in 1852. The farm features a charming 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame house with a gabled roof and clapboard exterior, along with a modern addition that includes a glass greenhouse. The property, which has a rich history tied to local families and the landscape of Mount Monadnock, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
