Partridge Inn

The Partridge Inn, located in Augusta, Georgia, is a historic hotel that has been part of the Curio Collection by Hilton since its reopening in 1988. Originally part of a private home built in 1836, it became a popular winter retreat for Northeastern vacationers and officially opened as a hotel in 1910. The inn hosted a gala for President Warren G. Harding in 1923 but faced decline after tourism shifted to Florida. Saved from demolition in the 1980s, the Partridge Inn celebrated its centennial in 2010 and underwent a $10 million renovation in 2022, making it a charming destination for both tourists and researchers interested in its rich history.
