Bretton Hall (Manhattan)

Bretton Hall is a historic twelve-story residential building located at 2350 Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. Originally completed in 1903 as the Hotel Bretton Hall, it was once the largest hotel uptown and features Beaux Arts architecture. The building has undergone various transformations, including serving as affordable housing for artists in the 1980s. Today, it houses 461 rental apartments and retains many architectural elements, such as ornamental balconies and a distinctive facade. Notably, it has a rich history, including a branch of the New York Produce Exchange Bank and a studio for ambient producer Tetsu Inoue.
