Medical Arts Building (Hot Springs, Arkansas)

The Medical Arts Building is a historic 16-story Art Deco skyscraper located at 236 Central Avenue in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas. Completed in 1929, it was the tallest building in the state until 1960 and features a striking entrance with fluted pilasters and floral panels. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, the building has been largely closed to the public since 1991 but is currently undergoing renovation to be transformed into an Aloft Hotel, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and urban development.
