Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University (natural history exhibitions)

Founded in 1812, the Academy of Natural Sciences is the oldest natural history museum and research institution in the Americas and is located on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The museum features long-running public exhibits including Dinosaur Hall, dioramas, and a living butterfly exhibit, and it conducts active scientific research and collections stewardship. In 2011 the Academy affiliated with Drexel University, formalizing an academic partnership for research and education.
