Mannings Folly

Mannings Folly was a notable three-storey building in Fremantle, Western Australia, built in 1858 as a hostel for Indian army officers. It served as the residence of Charles Alexander Manning, a local trader and amateur astronomer, until his death in 1869. The building was a significant part of Fremantle's landscape and was later used by a customs agent until its demolition in 1928. Today, the site is occupied by Quest Apartments, but it remains a point of interest for those exploring Fremantle's rich history.
