Gunnergate Hall

Gunnergate Hall was a grand mansion built in 1857 in Middlesbrough, England, originally for wealthy Quaker banker Charles Albert Leatham. After changing hands several times, it fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1946. Today, the site is part of Fairy Dell Park, a local nature reserve featuring a picturesque wooded valley, ornamental lake, and diverse wildlife. Visitors can explore the park's walking paths, admire chainsaw sculptures, and participate in community activities aimed at preserving the natural beauty of the area. The park has received a Green Flag Award, highlighting its significance as a recreational space.
