2020 Downtown Nashville Christmas Day bombing

On December 25, 2020, an explosive device inside a recreational vehicle detonated on 2nd Avenue North in downtown Nashville, causing extensive damage to nearby buildings and infrastructure. The blast killed the person inside the vehicle, later identified by the FBI as Anthony Quinn Warner, and injured three civilians. The explosion damaged an AT&T switching facility, producing widespread communications outages across the region. Federal and local authorities investigated the incident as a deliberate bombing.
