Brown & Hawkins Store

Brown & Hawkins is a historic general store located in Seward, Alaska, founded in 1904 to support the local community and the construction of the Alaska Central Railroad. It is recognized as the oldest continuously operating business in Seward and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. In 2019, the building was sold to new owners who plan to transform it into a Cobble-Art Gallery, ensuring the legacy of this historic site continues in a new form.
