Farnam Mansion

The Farnam Mansion, a stunning example of 19th-century Italianate architecture, is located in Oneida, New York. Built around 1862, this historic mansion features ornate details such as a low-pitched roof, decorative cornice brackets, and a wrap-around porch. Inside, visitors can admire high ceilings, marble fireplaces, and original gas lighting. The mansion has a rich history, originally owned by businessman Stephen Head Farnam, and later by notable figures including women's suffrage activist Mary Dyer Jackson and physician Dr. Robert Lewis Crockett. Today, it is owned by Gerri Gray, who has preserved its historical charm while also incorporating modern amenities.
