Gibbons Lodge

Gibbons Lodge, also known as the President's House, is the official residence of the president of the University of Western Ontario, situated in the picturesque Uplands neighborhood of London, Ontario. Established on an expansive 18-hectare property that offers views of the university, the lodge was originally built in 1932 by local builder Charles Oram. The property was acquired by the university in 1961 after being donated by Helen Gibbons, the daughter of a prominent lawyer, following her death in 1960. This historic mansion not only serves as a residence but also stands as a symbol of the university's heritage and commitment to education.
