Fisher Building

The Fisher Building was completed in 1928, designed by Albert Kahn and financed by the Fisher brothers as part of the New Center area development. Noted for its limestone base, orange brick facade, and richly decorated marble and mosaic interior, the building originally housed the Fisher Motor Company offices and high-end retail. It is a designated National Historic Landmark and remains a prominent architectural icon in Detroit.
