Romare Bearden Park

Romare Bearden Park is a roughly 5-acre urban park in Uptown Charlotte named for native Charlotte artist Romare Bearden. The park features landscaped gardens, fountains, and an event lawn with an amphitheater and regularly hosts concerts, festivals, and community gatherings. It opened in 2013 as a cultural and recreational space honoring Bearden’s artistic legacy.
