Orpheum Theatre (downtown Phoenix vaudeville/movie palace)

The Orpheum Theatre opened in Phoenix in 1929 as a vaudeville house and movie palace. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The theater underwent restoration and reopened for live performances in the 1990s and today hosts touring Broadway shows, concerts, and community events.
