Fiske House

The Fiske House, located in Chelmsford Center, Massachusetts, is a historic home built in 1798 by merchant Simeon Spalding, Jr. This 2+1⁄2 story wood and brick structure features distinctive Federal style architecture, including brick end walls and four chimneys. The house has remained in the Spalding family lineage since 1839, when it was purchased by John Minot Fiske. It was briefly operated as a tavern in the 1830s but has retained much of its original interior finish. Recognized for its historical significance, the Fiske House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 and is part of the Chelmsford Center Historic District.
