Sunny Jim Sea Cave access via The Cave Store

The Cave Store at La Jolla Cove provides the only public stairway access to Sunny Jim Sea Cave, a narrow sea cave that opens onto a hidden viewpoint inside the cliff face. Visitors descend a long wooden staircase inside the store and follow a tunnel to reach the cave, which offers a sheltered viewing spot looking out to La Jolla Cove and the ocean. The cave access is a unique, built feature that reveals intertidal scenery and sea-sculpted rock formations not visible from the bluff above.
