Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran Field)

Harry Reid International Airport opened in 1942 as McCarran Field and has served as Las Vegas's primary commercial airport since World War II. Early runways, hangars, and terminal structures reflect mid-20th-century aviation infrastructure and wartime expansion. The airport has been repeatedly expanded and modernized while incorporating and replacing those original facilities to accommodate increasing passenger traffic.
