The Gold Houses, located in Mason, West Virginia, are two historic homes built in 1908, showcasing the elegant Queen Anne architectural style. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, the site has a storied past, including a tragic incident in 2004 when one house was set ablaze under suspicious circumstances. Although one house has been lost, the remaining structure continues to attract interest from tourists and researchers alike, highlighting the region's architectural heritage.
