California Theatre of the Performing Arts

The California Theatre is a restored 1927 vaudeville and movie palace in downtown San Jose that functions today as a performing arts venue. It hosts theatrical productions, concerts, and film festival screenings and has been used as a primary venue for the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival. The theater's restoration and programming have contributed to downtown San Jose's cultural revitalization.
