Former Tait & Co. Merchant House

The Former Tait & Co. Merchant House, located in Anping District, Tainan, Taiwan, is a historic building that dates back to 1867. Originally constructed as a merchant house for Tait & Company following the opening of Anping for international trade, it has served various purposes over the years, including housing a salt company during Japanese rule and later becoming the office of Tainan Salt Works.
