Texas Star Ferris wheel at Fair Park

The Texas Star is a 212-foot Ferris wheel installed at Fair Park that first opened in 1985 and became a signature attraction of the State Fair of Texas. Located on the Fair Park grounds, the wheel operates seasonally during the State Fair and serves as a landmark installation visible across parts of east Dallas. Its lighting and prominence on the Fair Park skyline make it a recurring feature of the fair’s visual identity.
