The Carl Wilhelm August Groos House, a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark since 1977, is an exquisite example of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture located in San Antonio, Texas. Designed by Alfred Giles in 1880, this limestone home reflects the rich history of its original owner, Carl Groos, a German immigrant who became a prominent businessman and a founding member of the Groos National Bank. The house is part of the King William Historic District and has undergone restoration after being purchased by the San Antonio Council of the Girl Scouts in 1957.
