F. M. Knight Building

The F. M. Knight Building is a historic two-story commercial structure located in southeast Portland, Oregon, recognized for its Italianate architectural style and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1989. Built around 1890, this wood-frame building served the Sunnyside neighborhood, which developed rapidly in the late 19th century due to new transportation links. Notable features include a decorative cornice, a parapet, and distinctive windows. The building is one of the few remaining from its era, offering a glimpse into Portland's commercial history and the evolution of its neighborhoods.
