Arnold Arboretum (Jamaica Plain)

The Arnold Arboretum, established in 1872, is a public arboretum owned by the City of Boston and administered by Harvard University. Designed in part by Frederick Law Olmsted, it is a living collection of trees and shrubs that anchors the Jamaica Plain neighborhood and forms part of Boston's Emerald Necklace park system. The Arboretum is used for research, education, and public recreation year-round.
