SS Jeremiah O'Brien (Liberty ship museum)

The SS Jeremiah O'Brien is a World War II–era Liberty ship built in 1943 and preserved as a museum ship at Pier 45 in Fisherman's Wharf. It is one of the few surviving operational Liberty ships and was restored and opened to the public to interpret mid-20th-century shipbuilding and maritime technology. The vessel is berthed at Pier 45 where visitors can tour the ship and learn about its role in wartime logistics and postwar preservation efforts.
