Frederiksholms Kanal 16–18

Frederiksholms Kanal 16–18 are two historic buildings in central Copenhagen, Denmark, overlooking the picturesque Frederiksholm Canal. The site features the Victorian Home, a 15-room museum showcasing late 19th-century bourgeois life, located on the second floor of No. 18. The buildings, which date back to the late 17th century and have undergone various transformations, are notable for their architectural elegance, including richly decorated interiors and a striking frieze by Bertel Thorvaldsen. Today, No. 16 houses the Attorney General's office, while No. 18 offers guided tours of the Victorian Home, providing visitors with a glimpse into Denmark's rich history and culture.
