Barton Springs Pool

Barton Springs Pool is a spring-fed swimming pool in Zilker Park fed by Edwards Aquifer springs, maintaining an average temperature of about 68–70°F year-round. The site has been a popular public swimming spot since the early 20th century and is managed by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department. The pool is fed directly by natural springs and is noted for its clear, spring-fed water and year-round recreational use.
