Mystery Castle

Mystery Castle was constructed by Boyce Luther Gulley in the 1930s on the south slope of South Mountain using scavenged and donated materials. The 18-room stone-and-wood structure was built reportedly for his daughter and is noted for its eclectic, hand-built character. It is maintained as a small museum and is open for guided tours by appointment and on select days.
