Luce-Dyer House

The Luce-Dyer House, also known as the Stark-Carlson House, is a historic Italianate style brick dwelling located in Louisiana, Pike County, Missouri. Built between 1856 and 1860, this two-story home features distinctive architectural elements such as a bracketed cornice, gabled roofline, and semi-circular topped windows. A Neoclassical front portico was added in the 1930s. The house is part of the North Third Street Historic District and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Although it suffered significant fire damage in July 2016, restoration efforts are currently underway, making it an intriguing site for both tourists and researchers interested in historic preservation.
