Gallagher-Kieffer House

The Gallagher-Kieffer House, located in the North Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a historic residence built in 1893 in the Shingle architectural style. It was home to Patrick F. Gallagher, president of the Duquesne Construction Company, and his family. The house has a rich history, including its connection to Isabella W. C. Comingo, whose family originally owned the land. The house showcases unique architectural features typical of the late-nineteenth century Victorian period, including a steeply pitched gambrel roof and numerous stained glass windows. In 2020, it was designated a City of Pittsburgh Historic Structure and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2025, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in Pittsburgh's architectural heritage.
