Bullet Hill School

The Bullet Hill School, located on Main Street in Southbury, Connecticut, is a historic school building dating back to the late 18th century, making it one of the oldest brick school structures in the state. This 2-1/2 story building features distinctive Flemish bond brickwork and a charming hip roof topped with a belfry and weathervane. Originally serving as a schoolroom and meeting space, it operated until 1942 before being preserved as a historical monument. The school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, highlighting its significance in local history.
