Lan Su Chinese Garden, an authentic Ming-style scholar's garden

Lan Su Chinese Garden is a one-acre, authentic Ming Dynasty-style Chinese garden located in Portland's Old Town Chinatown that opened to the public in 2000. The garden was built as a collaboration with artisans and designers from Portland's sister city Suzhou, China, and features traditional elements such as a teahouse, pavilions, covered walkways, and scholar's rock arrangements. It is recognized as a rare full-scale Suzhou-style garden constructed outside China.
