Vegas Vic neon cowboy sign

The Vegas Vic neon cowboy sign was installed in 1951 on the facade of the Pioneer Club at the east end of Fremont Street and is an iconic example of mid-century neon signage in Las Vegas. The large neon figure and accompanying lettering helped define Fremont Street's visual identity during the postwar casino boom. The sign remains one of the most photographed and discussed pieces of downtown Las Vegas architectural signage.
