Madh Island

Madh Island is a picturesque peninsular locality in the northern Mumbai Suburban District of Maharashtra, India. Once an island, it is now connected to Malad village through land reclamation. Surrounded by the Arabian Sea and the Manori-Gorai creek, it boasts four beautiful sandy beaches: Marve, Aksa, Erangal, and Madh. The area is home to several villages and smaller settlements, with a significant portion under military control. Tourists can explore the historic Madh Fort, built by the Portuguese and later captured by the Marathas in 1739.
