Bill Speidel's Underground Tour (Pioneer Square)

Bill Speidel's Underground Tour offers guided walks through subterranean passages and the buried storefronts of Pioneer Square that were sealed after Seattle's 1889 Great Fire and subsequent regrading. The tour interprets original sidewalks, storefronts, and early city infrastructure, and visitors commonly photograph and film interior passages and costumed guides. Many of those photos and short video clips are shared widely on social media as highlights of Seattle history tourism.
