Wildwood (Semora, North Carolina)

Wildwood, also known as the Monroe Long House, is a historic home built in 1893 near Semora, North Carolina. This two-story T-shaped I-house features a blend of Queen Anne and Greek Revival architectural styles, set on a sturdy brick foundation and clad in weatherboard. The property includes a smokehouse from around 1895 and two original log tobacco barns dating back to 1890. Recognized for its historical significance, Wildwood was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers interested in North Carolina's architectural heritage.
