Seal Rocks (haul-out visible from Cliff House)

Seal Rocks is a group of rocky islets offshore from the Lands End/Cliff House area that has long been noted as a haul-out for harbor seals and occasionally California sea lions. The rocks are a prominent feature in historical and contemporary views from the Cliff House and Sutro Baths shoreline. They are named on nautical charts and referenced in local natural-history accounts of San Francisco Bay wildlife.
