Langer Stall

The Langer Stall, or Long Stables, was a historic timber-framed riding school and drill hall in Potsdam, constructed in 1734 under Frederick William I of Prussia. Although it was largely destroyed during World War II, the gateway facade designed by Georg Christian Unger for Frederick the Great remains as a testament to its architectural significance. Visitors to Potsdam can appreciate the remnants of this once-grand structure and its historical context, as it played a vital role in the military and cultural life of the Prussian court.
